Dr. Michael Whiting has been caring for children and families with warmth and dedication since 1983. A Board-Certified Pediatrician, Dr. Whiting combines decades of medical expertise with genuine compassion, creating a welcoming environment where every child feels safe and every parent feels confident.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Genetics, Cum Laude, from Brigham Young University before graduating from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He completed his pediatric residency with the Phoenix Hospitals Pediatric Program, laying the foundation for a lifelong career devoted to pediatric care. Over the years, he has served families in both Utah and California, bringing his knowledge, experience, and gentle manner to every practice and patient interaction.

Dr. Whiting is deeply committed to teaching the next generation of healthcare providers and has served as a clinical instructor and preceptor for numerous medical and nursing programs, including Western University of Health Sciences, Midwestern University, Kirksville College of Medicine, and the University of California, Irvine. He has been recognized with awards such as the Friend of the Children Award from Casa Colina Children’s Center and the Regional Health Administrators Award from USPHS, and he is a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Outside the office, Dr. Whiting cherishes time with his wife, Karren, their children, and grandchildren. Family is at the heart of everything he does—both at home and in his practice—because he believes strong, healthy families build strong, healthy communities. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Whiting enjoys connecting with patients and families in their own language whenever possible.
